These Terms of Use govern your use of Votive.

By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You may use Votive for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree not to:

• misuse the service
• attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the app
• use the service for unlawful purposes

You are responsible for:

• maintaining access to your account
• keeping your email secure

We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by your actions.

Some features require a paid subscription.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google
• Billing is handled by the platform provider

Renewal

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
• You may cancel through your device settings

Trial

• Free trials may be offered
• After the trial ends, billing begins unless canceled

Your Content

You retain full ownership of your journal entries.

Important:

• Your journal is stored locally on your device
• We do not access or store your journal content

App Content

All app-provided content (readings, commentary, audio, structure) is owned by Votive or its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify app content without permission.

We do not guarantee:

• uninterrupted access
• error-free operation

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Votive is provided “as is” without warranties.

We are not liable for:

• data loss
• service interruptions
• indirect or consequential damages

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.

You may stop using the service at any time.

You may delete your account at any time through the app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
